IRS extends due date for those impacted by Hurricane Ian in the state of Florida. Individuals and business tax returns that filed for extensions for the 2021 tax year are now due on or before February 15, 2023.
For information on tax relief for victims of Hurricane Ian or on extensions and casualty losses related to Hurricane Ian
If you need to file a state return with the Florida Department of Revenue, they have also extended their due date to March 2, 2023. Eligible taxpayers that file Florida corporate income tax returns, as well as Florida corporate income tax installment payments, with original due dates or extended due dates falling on or after September 23, 2022 and before March 2, 2023 will now have a due date of March 2, 2023. This tax relief is applicable to affected businesses anywhere in Florida.
